Can someone advise if the cable current is 3A and I am using a VOOC charger wall plug, will this cable slow down my charge?

    • I'm using them with QC3.0 devices which they work fine for, if that's any guide for VOOC suitability?

Unfortunately I have no idea if the supposed ~"2.6A" I see in apps is real or actually lower amps at a higher voltage and the OS is reporting it as equiv in 5.0v only or something weird like that.

Edit: it does say the following, but I assume you're asking if that is real or just garbage they've written to sell it?

Full Upgrade: Conforms USB Type-C specifications version 1.1, standard 56kΩ pull-up resistor, 28AWG data wire and 21AWG power wire contained which ensures a safe and fast charging at 3A maximum. Cable data transmission speeds up to 480 Mb/s.

      • Thanks for your explanation. I think I'll give them a go. I was using a baseus cable, which was awesome, but broke after 3 months. Worse comes to worse, I'll just give them to family lol

    • These cables are not compatilbe with VOOC fast charging devices but it is compatible with QC3.0 devices. Could you please let me know what the model number of your device and the wall charger? Besides, we do have a cable that is compatible with VOOC fast charging. You may browse its information at link https://www.amazon.com.au/Fasgear-Oneplus-Charging-Braided-C….

  • I have these. Have lasted well. Would recommend 👍

  • Got one. Thanks op

  • Wish they were shorter…although the description says it is not compatible with Apple devices, can they at least slow charge or for data transfer?

Sorry for the wrong information and I have updated the correct information. Actually, it could be compatible with some Apple devices with type C interface but it do not be compatible with the devices with lightning port. For example, it could compatible with iPad Pro 2018 / 2020 with normally charging rate (max 5V/2A). And it is a USB 2.0 cable that its data transfer rate is up to 480Mbps.

      • Thanks for the info. I actually have a few Fasgear USB-C to USB A cables waiting in my Amazon cart for a couple of months but I wasn’t sure if the cables were compatible for Apple devices so I did not proceed with the purchase. Does Fasgear sell any USB 3.0 to USB C cable?

  • Bought three different lengths. Thanks.

    • Bought two of different lengths this afternoon.

  • Will it charge latest macbooks?
