David Jones has a sale on some of the Vornado products. The Vornado 683 is a pedestal mid-sized air circulator (not the DC version). Note that it only comes in black. Delivery is free over $50. Normally retails for $229-$249 and is cheaper than the 20% storewide sale from Vornado Online many months back.

This looks like the equivalent of the Vornado Air Circulator 633 Medium? Only difference is the stand?
According to product specs of 633 vs 683 aside from the latter being a pedestal fan, both moves air up to 23m but with slight difference in dB and rpm.
Are these any good? Any difference from a fan from bunnings?

I think this would work well if you live somewhere with big diurnal temperature range. Set up next to a window in the evening/night and let it rip.
That’ll be my use case. Let’s see if it lives up to expectations.

making horrible noises in high speed mode, i could never imagine a fan could sound as loud as a vacuum untill i got one of this.
