Your cat is now making the same face as your avatar when it found out you weren't gonna buy

Yeah, well, he shoulda been more polite

    • Seeing the price made me look up how to just DIY a large scratching post

        find roll of carpet

        Congratulations!

    • its worth it, its built very well compared to anything on ebay or Kmart. we got 4 cats and I can see it going for 5 years easy

    • Really, are you poor or something?

      • +3

Yep, that's why I'm on OzBargain mate. How about you?

  • Any product available for dummy cat?

  • My cats loved this, picked up the the previous deal. The perch is also on sale for $36

  • Does anyone’s cat actually used the scratch posts they are given? My excat would purposely avoid it and go at the furnitures.

Our can't didn't use scratching posts and preferred the furniture. One day I noticed it also seemed to like scratching a couple of the horizontal timber logs we use for garden edging. I bought a slightly cheaper knock off of this thing and put it on its side in front of, or on top of the bits of furniture (mostly the couch) that the cat liked scratching. It worked almost straight away, the cat started hopping on top of the post and doing a horizontal scratch. After a few months I shifted the post (still on its side) to be next to the couch in a more convenient spot. The cat still uses the post and now my furniture isn't getting destroyed.

  • Our cats use scratching posts but only carpet ones. They don’t use the sisal. These are nice heavy duty scratching posts and they make good cat perches or a way to leap onto something else.
