MS Keyboard & Mouse: Wireless Desktop 3000 from Officeworks $24.70

Moved to Forum: Original Link

Looked around my local retail shops and did some price matching on the MS Keyboard & Mouse: Wireless Desktop 3000 and go them down to $24.70!

One of the retailers had it marked down to $26, but Officeworks has the price match and made it cheaper!

I used my iPhone to take a photo of the official one on sale: http://upload.ozbargain.com/2011/11/16/7200_mswirelesskeymou…

Docket from Officeworks: http://upload.ozbargain.com/2011/11/16/7199_mswirelesskeymou…

Probably a mistake, OW doesn't PM clearance prices.

    • it needs to be an advertised price.

      • Ain't no mistake, they price matched!

        • You def got lucky then, I don't think this will be repeated.

        • Yeah i think you were lucky, they dont price match and then beat clearance prices

  • just go to ow, they didn't make it !

No one is interested in how you got OW to match some unknown price. Either tell us how to do it or stop waating our time.

I walked into The Good Guys, saw they had the keyboard and mouse on sale, whipped out my trusty iPhone, took a photo of the product with the price on it. Walked out and walked into Officeworks, found a salesperson, whipped out my trusty iPhone, showed them the picture, you can clearly see it says $26, salesperson went to the shelf, grabbed the product, took it to the cash registrar, did some typing etc, asked where the photo was taken, the good guys as the answer, then they said $24.70 thanks, I whipped out my credit card, put it in the little machine they have there to make payments, punched in my pin, the machine said approved, I took my product to the car and whipped out my iPhone again and took a photo of the docket, drove home and uploaded it here! Any more information you want?

  • good post , because goodguys already sold out , that's why OW won't price match, anyway ,thanks!

  • Price matching isnt a bargain. Post the bargain, then mention you can save more with price matching. see http://www.ozbargain.com.au/wiki/help:deal_posting_guideline…
