New Laptop in Store for $1000 Needed Urgently

Hi everyone,

First time poster. I'm hoping someone can help me pick between three laptops. I need the laptop pretty quickly (this weekend) so can only buy instore (regional NSW/VIC). Needs to be $1000 or less, 15.6 inch and will be used for day to day activities (banking, surfing the web etc). No gaming. I was hoping for decent battery life but they could be a pipe dream.

I can see the obvious differences between storage capacity and processor but I don't know if that means anything.

HP 15.6 i5-1035G1 $999 https://www.harveynorman.com.au/hp-15-6-inch-i5-1035g1-8gb-5…

HP 15.6 Athlon-3150U $788

HP 15.6 i5 DU1016TU $897 ($1099 at JB)

Thanks so much in advance for anyone who can help on their weekend!

What other retailers in your border town area?

    • JB Hi Fi, Good Guys, Harvey Norman and Bing Lee.

      • Ahhhh. Sunny Wodonga.

  • The one from officeworks is more expensive and has a lower quality screen.
And for what you're after, the other two are almost identical. I would either choose the one with the better all metal build (as it will last you longer), or the cheaper one otherwise.
