Samsung Galaxy S20 Plus International Model from Kogan?

Hello Guys,

I was wondering if anyone knows what the model number of the listed item is.

I'm setting out to purchase the S20 Plus 5G but the snapdragon version.

If you scroll down to the specs of the item it labels the chipset as "Exynos 9820 or Qualcomm SM8150 Snapdragon 855", same for the GPU labelled "Mali-G76 MP12 or Adreno 640".

The product labels it as an international model. What is the difference between the international model and the Australian model?

Any form of help will be appreciated, Thank you

  • "Exynos 9820 or Qualcomm SM8150 Snapdragon 855",

Given their history, they'll probably just ship whatever they can source at the time.

Is it that much cheaper to get from Kogan? If the difference isn't much, you're probably better off getting it off one of the more reputable sellers on ebay so you know exactly what you're getting instead of ordering and "praying" that it's the snapdragon version.

Kogan are usually pretty accurate with their product descriptions but that only applies with items sold by Kogan. That 3rd party just ship whatever they have on hand. Don't buy it if you're particular about what chipset you want to have.

  • The Au S20 FE 5G has snapdragon.

  • +1

Not sure if this is still the case, but when I looked at Samsung phones and watches 2-3 years ago, Samsung Pay didn't work on the international models with Australian bank/credit cards. If this is an important feature to you then do some research on that. Also, I bought Kogan phones 3 years ago for my parents and it didn't come with an AU fast charger (they put in a generic 1.5A charger), so had to buy a GB to AU adapter to use the faster charger from the box

    • It's true. I got an SD Note 10 and Samsung Pay doesn't work on my phone
