      • Are you sure? It comes with 2 batteries, but that doesn't mean the mower uses 2 at once. Likely just come with 2 batteries, because it comes with 2 pieces of equipment…
The title of the item is "20V Mower" after all.

this is a skin 2 x 20v. no batteries included

        • Got one this morning, the mower is definitely 2x 20V

          • @psmedley: does the Mower work with 1 battery(20v)?

@udyz: Dunno, haven't tried it yet - but I suspect it needs both. Kind of annoyed I didn't notice the writing on the box about 2x 20V as I bought a 4.0 Ah battery to have in addition to the 2 x 2.0 Ah batteries - I should have bought a second 4.0 Ah battery.

I intend to test it out on Sunday - the mower + edger are for our holiday house…

Was going to wait in line for this one, but after reading the comments i'll be sleeping in.

    Thank you OzB!

  • Put your tent up there the previous evening if you want to get one

    • if they only have 3 or 4 units at each store, what's the plan to actually score one once store opens? sprint to the isle or knee guy in front?

Learn a trick or two from Usain Bolt

  • I bought this set last time they had it as a special buy. The mower is fine for my small backyard. Line trimmer is absolute garbage. Just hacks at the grass.

  • But it's a 2 x 20v. two batteries.

  • isn't this when Bunnings have their own discount on mowers to compete? the bunnings $169 skin and $200 kit look underwhelming.
I am not sure if I would be able to grab one of these Aldi ones on Saturday.

  • Anyone figure out if this one is brushless? Id expect not for the price, but the styling is very similar to the $179 Brushless Lawn mower skin they had previously.

      It's brushless
Confirmed as I got one of three in my local Aldi

      • which aldi? store manager at my local said no Brisbane stores could get stock

        • I got one at the Adelaide Airport store this morning

My dad got one early in the morning but I am not too keen on keeping it after reading the comments

are you melbourne based at all? I’d gladly take it off your hands (and even let you keep the batteries / charger in case you want them for the rest of the xfinity range)

Adelaide based. I set it up, tried to use it, it shut down after 10 seconds and doesn't turn back on again. Time to take it back to aldi🙃

  • I've used the trimmer, very weak! I'll be holding on to my petrol trimmer for sure! I haven't had a chance to try the mower yet and will update my comment in due course

    • looking forward

Definitely enough power to mow lawns. I used the 2 X 20V batteries that came with the mower and mowed a medium size lawn. Very glad with the purchase and not phased at all with its ability to mow thicker lawns - following the general guidance of now mowing when wet. Very happy with the buy.

  • Hi,

Has anyone bought this como and used? I found my local Aldi suddenly have 2 units available so would like to know if worth buying it.

    Cheers

    • I got one, very happy. Similar to you I found some stock recently
