  I have put around 30-40 hours into the original and was pumped for the re-reckoning. After around 5 hours, I feel let down. I think it is something the community could have done, and it isn't work the price of entry for a game this old.

  I was really excited for better movement and refreshed graphics, but it just doesn't really look that good. Also, it hasn't aged well, with modern games doing similar things but better.

  Save your money unless you are desperate for something to do.

    It is something the community has done!

    There was a project called the HD reskin that was exactly that, and it even worked on steam which was awesome.

    It only required a few minutes of tinkering.

  To me the new version just has increased contrast. Has there been anything compelling that justifies rebuying this game?
