I am considering to trade my ps4pro for the 5 I was just curious does anyone knows what the trade in value for a PS4 pro would be if I was trying to upgrade to the ps5
Im currently level 4 with my EB World card, not sure how much that would adjust the value

Not until 2021 probably. It's sold-out globally and local branch said they won't have launch day stock at all.
If you've already pre-ordered, you can pop in anytime to trade-in/pay off remainder before launch day rush.
Any time before the $300 offer ends? OR will they let us hang onto our PS4 Pros until they get our preorder in even if that's after the offer expires.

I'm told you get 10 days from confirmation of pickup available to do so else they reallocate your order to next on waiting list. Stores will open from 8AM for those with pre-order confirmations to pickup and you can trade-in there and then but also anytime before that day to reduce queue delays.
@Hybroid: I still hate that I'll have to trade in my controller. I wonder if it's worth keeping the PS4 Pro if it's only worth $300 minus the cost of a replacement controller. Then again probably no, it's not worth anything if you own the PS5.

I sold mine on Facebook for $580 with a couple games (basically sold the ones i would get with PS Plus on my PS5)
I was gonna trade but then saw how well they were selling on eBay and the like (i sold mine on Facebook in about 5 hours and no fees)
@jimbobaus: Wow that's a good price, maybe I should attempt to do the same. I'm happy with what I'll get from trading it in at EB but if I can get a decent amount more selling it myself a bit earlier it might be worth it, I've got the Switch in the meantime if I need something else to play lol.
I have physical versions of half the games included in the PS Plus collection so I'll do the same as you and throw those in.

Switch for passing the time and i was not planning on getting anything on PS4.
I kept the games i want to play long term (AC oddessy etc )
once the PS5 arrives the market will be flooded with PS4's so i took the chance to get in early.
on eBay i notice pro's selling for 500+ depending on games included etc
@AustriaBargain: You can keep the controller and they'll knock $45 off trade-in value. $5 off for no power or HDMI cable.
@Hybroid: EB Games told me on facebook they plan to do appointments for collections to reduce customer numbers in store on the day.
They also intend to have one register dedicated at all times to pre order collections.
@jimbobaus: yes my eb asked me today (in store) if i wanted an early slot…. I said NO as I'm not in a rush. id rather someone who wants it bad gets a slot… I will prepay with my trade prior to launch day though.. but probably pick up in a day or so

Man second hand prices for the PS4 pro must have cratered in the last few weeks. Just looked now, there is at least 10 on Facebook marketplace for between $300 and $350.
It's because the new console is finally here.
Around August-September was a good time to get rid of it.

Don’t know about EB Games, but I got $470 cash at CeX around the beginning of June here in Sydney.
A month ago they were giving around $170 and now they are giving $148 cash.
I sold my normal ps4 1tb that was 4 years old for $252 with level 4 to ebgames about 2weeks ago. However that was given to me on a gift card. Its 20%less for cash
