Kmart Water Filter Cartridge Compatible with Brita Jug?

I have a Brita water filter jug for which the filter replacements seem excessively expensive. I was wondering if anyone has tried using a Kmart filter replacement instead in a Brita jug and if it's compatible : https://www.kmart.com.au/product/water-filter-cartridges---3…

    Yes, they fit perfectly.

    • so the brita and kmart jugs can have their replacement filter swapped over and both filters fit on each other ?

I can say for certain that Kmart filters fit in Brita jugs.

I assume Brita filters will fit in Kmart jugs.

        • Thanks, i assume then Target ones fit Kmart ones too ?

Since that has reviews saying that fits Brita ones

If you have Prime, this is a good deal on genuine filters:

    • Ah yes this is a good deal. Almost same price as the Kmart one.

    • No delivery to Australia ?
      $67.29 + $30.22 delivery (without prime)

      • My order went through fine and is on its way (with Prime).

  • Do you think these are designed to the same quality as Brita? Wouldn’t want to be adding anything to the drinking water instead of just filtering stuff out…

I eventually replaced with the Kmart ones. Not sure about quality but I've noticed that the flow of water for the Barita one was less compared to the Kmart one, which fills up relatively quickly. Maybe the Barita filter has more filtering material in it ?

      • Hmm, makes sense. How’s the taste of the water?
