In the good old days, Club Nintendo had all those goodies we can exchange with customer loyalty points.
I just checked, US and Japanese accounts still have quite good physical goodies you can exchange.
But Aussies got nothing but those digital wallpapers.
What happened? Did we do something bad so they pulled out?
I exchanged some physical gifts! They took them all. Off like 2007 or something like that but they did warn you.
Club Nintendo had physical gifts, the My Nintendo programme which started in 2016 in Australia hasn't had any physical gifts.
Yes, back when it was still called Club Nintendo, there were quite some good stuff. I've exchanged for card holders, screen wipes, etc. Now it's called My Nintendo, US store and Japanese store still got physical goodies. Not sure if they were only added recently though.
Nintendo hates PAL land (especially Australia).

Nintendo Australia never had physical gifts on My Nintendo unlike Club Nintendo, other regions have only been more recently adding physical gifts, hopefully they'll come here as well.
