  • I'd actually ordered 2 about 10 days ago that hadn't shipped yet (guess it was already on back order?) and managed to cancel those to get the price drop

    • Good job! By the way, isn't strange the 4oz one just cost 28¢ more?

      • I guess the cast forming (or whatever method) is the most expensive bit.

Either way I'm sticking to 2oz, try to keep those serving sizes Australian instead of American.

  • Good timing. Just ruined couple of spoons trying to scoop out ice cream.

    • I just wonder which one will you pick, 2oz or 4oz?

        You guessed it right ;)

Ordered 4oz. Had $10 credit from Prime day.

    • Why were you having ice cream in the early hours of the morning?

      • Breakfast of champions

  • OOS already

These are the real deal - the heat transfer fluid in the handle does its job, and it's a completely different experience to using a normal scoop (let alone a spoon). The 2oz makes what I consider a 'normal size' scoop.
WARNING: follow the instructions not to put these in the dishwasher. This is what happens to the scoop after one trip through the dishwasher.

The WonderBra of Ice Cream Scoops?

    • Thats 20 percent more to the server, not the customer

thanks OP, cheapest ever - unfortunately i already spent my $10 promo credit on one when they were $26.73, so now must buy more to lower their average cost - good summertime gifts :)

interestingly, the oxo is now also cheapest ever at $20.05

Did anyone look at the 1 start reviews? All of them accuse the product of being fakes.

    • did you realise that they were unbranded from overseas last year? the one received last week is fine :)

      • did you realise that they were unbranded from overseas last year?

I'm not sure what you are trying to say. Are you saying that those accusations of fakes are incorrect because they did not have branding until recently? A lot of them show side by side photos of genuine zeroll logos embossed on their scoops while the Amazon shipped ones do not.

When you say it's fine, are you saying that it is genuine?

no, the 1-star reviews of fakes showed unbranded scoops from overseas last year

          yes, seems so

          • @tonester: So to be 100% clear, your one has embossing?

            • +1

@boretentsu: I've received mine today, it has ZEROLL embossed on the handle, as show in the Amazon webpage.

  • Never heard of these but will give it a go, bent a few spoons over the years.

  • These aren't a good scoop anymore, despite me owning 3.

A company has now made this design in stainless steel so it's dishwasher safe.

So the Zeroll is now pointless.

    Cancel and order this:

    • These aren't a good scoop anymore…

      Meaning? batteries need replacing?

      For ice-cream scoops it's Zyliss!

if not zeroll, then it's oxo :)

    • Amazon description states

      Material Aluminum

      also…

      Zerol Website

The Zeroll Aluminum Ice Cream Scoops have heat conductive fluid sealed within the handle.

    • $70 vs $20 though that's pretty steep

  • Anyone else getting can't ship to your location.. been getting it a lot since prime day :(

    • Use a normal street address not PO box or parcel locker for international deliveries

  • Price up now?

  • Nice deal for using Amazon Au credit, but all sold out…

  • Few reviews say its fake

What are the benefits of these over… a spoon? Legit question.

Unfortunatly I was brought up in Australia using the terrible metric system - which ounce size should I get for a standard person?

    • 1020 for standard icecream cone.

Yup this thing is used by icecream shops everywhere, they are the real deal alright.

Bought mine about 7 years ago, still going strong (theres nothing that can really go wrong with them anyway)

Second the dishwasher thing, my mom put it in the dishwasher and came out real ugly. It can be cleaned up with aluminium polish that you can find at supercheap auto, just make sure after polishing it you wash it very well with detergent afterward (can be toxic)

  • I bought this for $35 two months ago and it never arrived.

    • I had Australia Post fail to deliver an Amazon order recently, and Amazon refunded me once the estimated delivery window had passed.

      • Same here, got it refunded, but was still excited about the ice cream scoop haha :(

  • Have one for a few years now. Very happy with it.
