At current prices, the Ruby Red metal card requires a $137 AUD minus a $50 USD referral bonus. After staking, you will be able to receive the debit card and can top it up directly from your forex fee free debit card and spend on your everyday purchases to get 2% cashback. the higher amount of CRO you stake, the higher cashback you will receive (1-8%) plus you will get reimbursement on Spotify/Netflix/Amazon Prime membership. with Ruby card you can get a Spotify membership reimbursement for couples.
see their card features here: https://crypto.com/en/cards.html

you can top up your crypto.com metal card with any debit card that doesn't charge international transaction fee or your crypto holdings. Also you can buy crypto through app using credit/debit card or BPay/PayID.

    Reverse bargain?

    • Cheap CRO is the bargain.

  • No more woolie and aldi 10% off. Not sure if I will continue to use the debit visa card.

  • You forgot to mentioned that after 2nd November the staking cost also goes up.

  • Watch out for this mob after the CEO Kris took a big dump and tanked the price of CRO. It's happened twice in the six months I've staked with them. (I couldn't exit as they reset the staking term to three months when MCO was phased out)

Also unless you're willing to stake on higher tiers, don't expect the cards to come. I've been staking since July and still haven't had my card. This means don't expect to use any benefits.

That said, if you want to jump in, you have a good price.

    • I've got my card. Had it for over a year. Just use it for the "free" Netflix and Spotify

      • I couldn't get the card due to the Wirecard issue. And I wouldn't call Netflix and Spotify free given the free fall in CRO price.

That said, it's better than what I got which is nada but a haircut to my crypto holdings

  • I heard they recently blacklisted Australian utility companies like electricity or gas providers from card cashbacks, despite not being listed in their T&C's. It seems they want to remove cashback eligibility for fixed expenses.

    • I was charged for my electricity and Gas today and received the cashback from them.

      • I saw it mentioned in this post. It might not apply to every company, yet.

Who are you with? I would be interested to know if AGL is on that list.

        • I'm with Globird

      • Good to know! I'm with Globird too.
Accidentally used MCO for RACV and home insurance renewal, but didn't get any cashback. I guess they're excluded.

  • are they issuing cards to australians yet? last time this was posted they had issues with their card provider and it was paused?

    • yep they are currently issuing , however the stakes required for cards increase from NOV 2 by 2.5* ie Ruby was 1000cro now 2500cro
