Visual voicemail/MessageBank Plus now available on prepaid?

You used to need a plan for it. But I put in a request ticket asking them to activate visual voicemail and I noticed today I have visual voicemail, on prepaid. I have two prepaid numbers with Telstra on the one phone so I wonder if I’d be pushing my luck asking for it on the second number too. It’s meant to be a $5 a month feature so I don’t know why I have it, even though I asked for it.

  This was activated on my Telstra Prepaid automatically a month or so ago. I did not request it.

    It’s pretty great though. It was the only reason I was considering going back on a plan. Unless we’ll need a plan for 5g next year.

      COVID = spend more time at home = use much less data = no need for a plan or 5g.

  Always been available. It’s other features like eSim provision for Apple Watch etc still locked that makes prepaid a no go for me.
