Has anyone else been able to get free SelfWealth trades through entering your referral link in Ozbargain? I added my referral code here back in April and within a few weeks I had 10 free trades… but I've not had any since. This is despite Ozbargain showing that people are actively clicking on my referral link, in fact the last time someone used my referral link was 2 days ago.
I raised the issue with SelfWealth and they said the visitors using the link haven't been signing up, it just seems odd then that in the first few weeks it was all working fine and the free trades were coming through, and then nothing in the last 6 months, despite being able to see quite frequent uses of my referral code.
Is there a chance SelfWealth are detecting referral codes coming from OzBargain and disabling the free trade rewards?
It still works for me, but I also noticed that is was working very fast a year ago, and more infrequent now.
I don't think they're tricking anyone. I think it's just that most Ozbargain members joined last year already. It could even be something weird, like web-spider robots clicking through the referral links, counting as clicks, but not actually being legitimate users intending to sign up.
