JB Telstra Plan Gift Card

I signed up for a telstra 68 Plan which comes with a 400 gift card, activated yesterday and found out there is a new deal for the same plan from JB tomorrow with 500 gift card.
Is it possible to call JB and ask to match the new deal?

      Will cooling off period helps to negotiate with them? I can't find if anyone did it before :(

    Same thing happened to me, I tried to call and negotiate getting the $500 gift card and was told it was impossible. YMMV depending on the operator, they never forwarded me to a manager or anything but I left it at that.

      I thought so, because there isn't a cooling off period so they won't need to worry about cancellation of the plan :(
