Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 - 45mm Bluetooth $549, 45mm LTE $699, 41mm Bluetooth $499, 41mm LTE $649 @ JB Hi-Fi

50

Was looking at replacing my current smart watch and noticed these were on sale, couldn't see a post already. Great price for Australian stock, might be cheaper from Kogan but this way you can still use Samsung Pay.

$1 cheaper on Amazon for the 45mm Bluetooth in black/silver, and $1 cheaper for both from Harvey Norman, but I'd personally rather buy from JB. Still full price at Officeworks so may be able to price beat depending on stock levels.

Have an excellent day, bargainers.

  • This or a Fossil Gen 5 watch?

Edit: much difference with older Samsung Gear watches?

I think this uses the same Chip as the original galaxy watch. Tossing up between this and the Ticwatch Pro 3 with the new Snapdragon chip.

      • I'm looking at the latter too

      • I think Ticwatch Pro 3 is the better product.

      • Ticwatch pro 3 has ugly bezel, display is not edge to edge (gap between bezel and actual visible display) and wear os isn't as polish as tizen os

  • On the comment of "but this way you can still use Samsung Pay" is this because the Kogan one is international / non-Australia region or something?

I have seen stuff like this where you can change the region, bit fiddly but sounds like fixes the issue (and this post is for Australia too) - https://www.reddit.com/r/GalaxyWatch/comments/aem46q/how_to_…

Might be able to change region or play around with the software to make it work, personally I'd rather pay the extra $20 to not have to play around with it.

      • Agreed, more that I've been looking at maybe getting an active 2 which is fair bit cheaper than the 3 and is very similar, but would be from either Kogan or eBay so was curious of the implications of buying from Kogan.

  • Any wearable expert able to give a quick comparison between this and Apple Watch S6/SE? Thanks.

  • LTEs are slightly cheaper on Samsung EPP;

    45mm LTE $679.20
    41mm LTE $639.20

  • It is a pity that there is no black available in the 41mm non-LTE. I've got a Galaxy S2 Classic in black and might have been tempted to update.

    Nice prices though.

  • Noob question: Does the LTE version require an esim to make use of the mobile phone functions of the watch?

Asking because I'm on a Telstra prepaid plan, which means I can't get an esim.

  • Thanks you made me upgrade from my gear sport
Got 45 mm black Bluetooth from Harvey

Can get an additional $50 off from the Samsung Education Store if you sign up to marketing emails, so the 45mm Bluetooth comes down to $509.20 and LTE model at $629.20.

  • Just bought the 45mm LTE for $551.85 from Samsung EPP.

  • is this still on or has it expired?
