Which Lenovo Laptop? ThinkPad E14 or Yoga Slim 7

Which would you choose?

Both have a 14" display, which I prefer over a 15".
Both have 8Gb memory and a 512 SSD

Thinkpad $1189 10th Gen Intel Core i5-10210U (4C / 8T, 1.6 / 4.2GHz, 6MB)
or
Yoga Slim $1139 AMD Ryzen 5 4500U (6C / 6T, 2.3 / 4.0GHz, 3MB L2 / 8MB L3)

I don't play online games etc. Mainly for MS office, and online shopping, lol…

      To elaborate, for me the Thinkpad appeal only applies to the T-series and the X-series and the AMD Ryzen 5 4500u obliterates anything else in this price region in terms of productivity.

        Thanks for that.. I'm not up to date with the latest hardware, and I really want to stay under $1500.

    The Yoga slim, all day long over the E14 if you don’t care abt the price difference. 300nits screen vs 250nits in E14, Yoga slim is 20% lighter (1.4 vs 1.69kgs).

    Black Friday coming up if you can wait a few weeks. Also if you can stretch to 1500-1600ish for x1 carbon on sale they are excellent machines.

    If all you're doing is MS office and online shopping, you should just buy the dell laptop or lenovo deals which are usually sub $800

      I'm trying to stay away from Dell. I stuffed me around last week with an order, so I'm looking elsewhere.
