  • How much are they though???
That is what Ozbargainers want to know…

Why not check out the link & add the specific dimensions you require to find out, you are aware that these factors manipulate the price also, not just brand & model alone?

  • Just had a look on Tyroola and it charges you for 4 tyres. Maybe I'm doing it wrong.

  • I normally get Ecopias from Bridgestone, and just last week I noticed I'm about due for new ones. Perfect timing!

How are they, I'm really looking for some quiet tyres on the highway :/

      • Just get Serenity Plus. Very well reviewed tyre.

      • They're run of the mill functional tyres! Just happen to be the same as what my car had factory, was happy with them so kept getting them. Current set has lasted about 40-50k km.

Isn’t this almost everyday at Costco? Buy 3 get 1 free. I can’t remember not seeing this deal at Costco - it’s pretty much a norm. If I remember correctly, I paid about $450 for my 4 Honda HRV (18”?) tyres @ Costco - installed. Also includes free balancing and rotation I believe.

    • Wow, for Bridgestone's?

      • yes - I think I got the same tyres - ecopia.

    • I think the deal finished last month at Costco. Well that's what the tyre guy said at Moorabbin. Advertising banner still up though on Sunday

    • any way of getting a sneak peak at Cosco tyre prices online?

      • +1

couldnt find the costco tyre prices online, but the current catalog seems to have $100 off michelin tyres for 17" and bigger ($50 for smaller).

        • thanks for that - I actually recall getting this same $100 off for 17" and above previously at Jax and it made me consider Michelins that would have otherwise been off my radar

  • Ecopia vs Michellin Primacy which is good?

    • +1

      Primacy.

    • wow that comparison is wild - Primacy is more or par with the Bridgestone Serenity Plus but I'd still favour the Michelin …

  • I've always had a good run with Ecopias.

  • Good touring tyres these Ecopias. I've put a set on my dad's Honda and they're still good after 30K km. Also great is the touring top of the range Senereny Plus…. but OMG the prices are crazy at the moment - it's as if they're factoring it buy 3 get 4th free constantly. I reckon $149 for 205/55R16 is NOT even remotely good value for money.

Here are a few comparisons of what I reckon are better or similar tyre quality than Ecopia EP300 in the size I'm after.

I need 2 only at this stage - I have a slow leak and cant be bothered fixing a 5 yo tyre even with remaining tread - I will sacrifice the worst remaining tyre and buy a new pair this week

EP3000 come out as $116.75 each from Jax if you buy 4 - that's not bad but I'd only get that for convenience - any of the options above I reckon are better deals even the Michelin's that's $125

Imagine paying $149 each for 2x EP3000 - that would be an automatic loss of ozbargain badge for 6 months for sure :)
