    No he didn't.

    Although he loved the American mid south west, he hated it's politics. He wrote about it to point out it's absurdity, using the spoken language and attitudes contemporary to the people he wrote about…

  I don't have a Kindle but am thinking of getting one. I got this Twain collection which goes into my 'cloud reader'. Would I be correct in thinking that if I get a Kindle in the future, I can download these onto it at a later date?
