Hi all.
I need your help with a media player for the car.
The setup is to be able to do three things
1. Hotspot with mobile phone for data
2. Cast Netflix from iphone
3. Play movies offline
The car has a hdmi and USB plug.
There are so many media players around. I’m getting confused/ overwhelmed. If it can be under $100 that would be good.

It’s ok. The car doesn’t play anything at front whilst driving. It’s for the back seaters.
Something low power that might run off the USB Port power without an AC Power Adapter, eg:
These both come with remotes, which is an added bonus. They'll likely come with HDMI extenders as well, which may come in handy, in case the HDMI port is in an awkward spot or is at risk of getting bumped/knocked.
If you plan on playing movies off a flash drive, you will also require one of these adapter cables
