Do You Have Amazon Prime for US and AU?

Just curious to see if people run Amazon Prime for both the Australian and American versions of the site.

Sorry about that, I've never really used that feature before and didn't know how to, just added it now. :)

I only have 1 sub for au and us. Works on both.

really? how did you do that?

      • Dont think i did anything. Just used my same login at the us store and it worked. All the orders are in seperate regions. Eg i cant check my us deliveries via the au store and vice versa.

          Yeah nah

You can use the same Amazon login at any of the sites (.au, .com, .uk etc) but Prime benefits are specific to each site and have to be purchased separately

So whilst you may be able to log in to Amazon.com with your .com.au login (which has a Prime subscription), you won't have Prime benefits on the .com account.

        • That's something that I found weird when the AU site opened. I'd been shopping on the US site since 2003 and never created a login on the AU site, my existing US username and password just worked on the AU BUT on the AU site none of my US wishlist, order history, recommendations etc was, or is, accessible on AU and now vice cersa. They function as two different sites but if they could bring the login/account details across, why not the rest of the stuff?

Just AU. I've had a trial of US in the past before AU existed and you don't get free shipping outside the US which made it sort of pointless at the time.

    • Are there any advantages of having US prime now ?

      • I guess if you wanted the US Prime videos etc? Not really sure as I haven't looked at it for years.

  • was wondering about this for the upcoming black friday. There are some deals coming up for amazon us credit, i assume, but if there's shipping for australia probably not worth it…? Hoping to get a laptop and such.
