      It does and also does subcutaneous fat does most other fats too. It's what this scale is good for, telling me I'm fat. It does it extremely well in a very advanced fashion.

      Really like the scales though, connection always just works, lots of data.

      Keep in mind that none of these scales can actually detect fat, water, bone density, etc. They use formulas to give you an estimate, which is still great. I've had the scales for about a year now and I think they're well worth the purchase.

    Does this one have an app that requires location access? One I got previously did, and while I still use it, having it hooked up to an old phone is a pain.
