What's with the ps4 upgrade 'not having as good performance'? Was this actually a confirmed thing?

That is not true - where is it confirmed there is no patch until next year? Ubisoft’s info is that PS4 and Xbox players receive the free upgrade to the respective version when those versions launch (which is 2 days later for ps5).

Yes, it does.
Went to my local EB they would only let me put down a deposit of $68, they said they would have to confirm on launch day availability.. doubt they will have the time to check
