Free International Shipping on COSRX Products (Weight under 2.5kg) Toner Gift Packs KRW15,000/A$17.90 Delivered @ Rose Rose Shop

250

COSRX is a popular brand of skin care products from South Korea that target and treat specific skin concerns and is kind to sensitive skin. There hasn't been a product that I don't like from what I've tried.

Usually Rose Rose Shop has some of the best prices for K-beauty items but shipping from South Korea kills the deal. For a limited time, they are offering free shipping for COSRX products, including international shipping to Australia. It will likely be cheaper than Australian stockists, but as always do your price comparison for the individual products. For example, the soothing sun cream at KRW12,800 (~$15.27) sells for $20+ before shipping in Australia, but the pimple patches are only marginally cheaper.

The toner gift sets for hydrating, brightening and nourishing with one 150ml full size toner plus two extra 30ml mini toners at KRW 15,000 (~A$17.90) Delivered are good value.

It's been a long time since I've ordered from them, from memory it was about 3-4 weeks. So you'll have to weigh up the savings vs the wait time.

Orders are shipped by Rincos then passed on to Australia Post with tracking number. Looks like it wil work out be about 1.5 weeks for Sydney metro.

  • Moocher, do you know of any other Asian beauty stores that offer free shipping to Australia?

I have only found Olive Young and StyleKorean for K Beauty so far..

StyleVana! Just curious - you don't like StyleKorean? I bought from them recently, free DHL shipping, really competitive prices (Korean RRP, often with discounts + additional coupons), everything authentic with good expiry.

      • I haven't ordered from StyleKorean before, glad to hear your experience was positive.

        • +2

I would totally recommend if you're about to purchase a big enough haul for the free shipping. They took a while to ship (understandable since it was Chuseok), but with DHL, the order came within a few days from time of ship.

          • @SomeBooy: Their prices on Missha essence are the cheapest I have ever seen! They now have a 11.11 sale and I am very tempted

            • @fortunecookie: Yeah, a lot of products on sale right now that are cheaper than when I bought them rip ahaha. Reeeeally tempted to make a second haul, but I have so much that I bought recently that I don't think I'll make the free shipping threshold (~$140AUD), but I might give StyleVana a go because their threshold is much lower (~$75AUD). Unless I justify a bigger purchase to include Christmas gifts…

              • @SomeBooy: I already have over $140AUD of products in my cart, but recently had a mini haul from the Ordinary which arrived this morning..

I'm interested to know what you're getting. I'll try to PM you :)

                • @fortunecookie: Wait for Black Friday with StyleKorean!

                  • @Slut: Have they already started their Black Friday sale? there's a pop up banner on their site with $11 items as part of the 11.11 sale

      • Hi somebooy, did you have to pay gst for your haul when it arrived?

        • +1

Hey lemonteh! No, I did not have to pay anything extra :) The package arrived at my doorstep and that was that

          • @SomeBooy: That's awesome thanks. I ordered last week and yet no signs of shipping.. wonder how long it's gonna take…

https://heartdrops.com.au has a $5 off first order and regularly do coupons.. not free but not terrible if you really needed something quickly and didn't want to wait for OS orders.

Yesstyle has free shipping for orders over AU $60 but their prices are ridiculously inflated unless the products are over 60% off (which just shows how inflated the prices are)

      • Thanks moocher - you're right their prices are very inflated!!

      • I second YesStyle. You need to compare prices. I’m currently a gold member with extra 10-12% off. There’s currently 11% discount for Single’s Day too

Actually Amazon also stocks COSRX, prices aren't too bad and if you have Prime you can get free shipping.

      • yeah they do - some things like the one I linked below are still 19% cheaper at roserose.

        • Roserose is definitely cheaper, it just takes significantly longer to get the goods (which I personally don't mind)

      • Actually the products that aren't discounted are still very expensive.

The BHA power liquid at $25.30 and Ultra moisturising lotion at $24.50 are quite alright though.

    • I just put in my first order from jolse.com. Not sure if they will be quick with delivery. I think it's DHL for the free shipping.

the free shipping only kicks in if you spend more than US$150.

    • hmm damn, it is cheap actually.

keoji is a good store too!

  • Great daily sunscreen - Purito Centella Green Level Unscented US$13.98
edit: I know not free shipping, but keep it in mind ;) Been using this for awhile.

  • Anyone know a good source for japanese skincare - more specifically, Hada Labo products?

Years ago I used to buy off Amazon JP, nowadays they don't ship here anymore.

fyi guys a good site I've purchased from before for kbeauty is tester corea, however they charge shipping by the weight so you gotta figure out if it's worth it after shipping is factored

    • Dokodemo
Their site is having issues for me at the moment, but they are usually pretty good.
Also they've had some issues with slower shipping due to covid - but again, usually it's no problem. Shipping is also cheaper than what it is at the moment.

      • They have tonnes of products and the prices are generally quite good, but the shipping costs seem very pricey!

        • at the moment the shipping is quite high - but pre-covid it was good.
they've had to remove a lot of the shipping options due to restrictions put in place by Japan.
There are often more than one seller to a product but it defaults to one when you first load the product. Different sellers can have different shipping rates too I've found.

      Stylevana.

Bought from them and was good, granted they MAY take a while to ship because they consolidate the products into one parcel if there isn't any stock of some of them.

  • Hey Moocher,

do you happen to know a cheaper alternative to the Pixi Glow tonic?

    https://www.sephora.com.au/products/pixi-glow-tonic/v/250-ml

    • From memory Pixi glow tonic is 5% glycolic acid. If your skin can tolerate it, try The Ordinary's 7% glycolic acid, currently 23% off.

      • I use the toner during the day only then I apply Olay whip SP30 over it

At night time I use the Olay Retinol night moisturiser

The ordinary cost $11.17 for 240ml, that's pretty good. Almost 300% saving!!

        • The directions for use:

Use ideally in the PM, no more frequently than once per day.

You may want to adjust your routine if you're going ahead with this one.

          • @moocher: eh, so glycolic acid is not suppose to be used during the day?

I've been using the pixie glow toner for almost 3years

I'm mostly indoors during the day anyway and rarely get any sun exposure and also wear moisturizer with spf30

            • @Homr: This is higher percentage at 7%. I guess it's up to you if you want to take the risk and not follow recommendations from the manufacturer themselves who know their formula best.

              • @moocher: ok maybe I won't get 7% then lol

    • Actually the COSRX whitehead power liquid is also glycolic acid based and is 7% as well

      Instructions for use:

      [How to use]
      * If you use daytime, please Apply sunscreen.
      * Recommend that you use in the evening.
      * Use two or three times a week.

      • Do you happen to know a 5% for daily use? or should I be using glycolic acid daily?

I've been using the pixie glow for 3years day and night and I'm worried if I caused any long term damage to my skin~~

        I have oily skin

  • For those using retinol it is more effective (and even cheaper in many cases) to get a prescription from a doctor for a retinoid cream.
    Starting at .025% cream.

    • Can GP's prescribe them? Thought you had to go to a dermatologist for that sort of thing.

  • Looks like my parcel is in Sydney (order placed 9 Nov) and has arrived in Sydney and now has an Australia Post tracking number.

    • Received package yesterday. They included 10 sample sachets which was nice.
