      Normal Birkenstocks have a leather upper, this is synthetic.

          Apparently you will. Anecdotal sources confirm that the synthetic material is quite the deal more comfortable and has a 'fuzzy' feeling on the inside of the foot! Pulled the trigger on these, too. Hoping they size right!

    Blinking A, I just bought the leather versions for $108 on Prime Day and thought I'd done pretty well. And I even bought black so can't justify grabbing this!

    I also have the black full EVA versions which are my go to for popping down to Coles. That said, don't overuse. I have flat feet and while they have more arch support than say, Havs, they don't have enough - I got plantar fasciitis doing a long walk in Jervis Bay in these.

      I have been living in these as a stay at home dad in summer and winter. I understand 3 bucks is an easy upgrade but I one pair for at least 2 years of solid use.

    For large sizes like 11 AU-43 EU mens, Amazon doesn't have them that I could find($300+ they do) so went back to OP's deal and 30% off code is there but the $22 del charge is a killer. Ebay seems to have a zillion of them from $53 upwards(in the big sizes) direct from China and I'm a bit suss that they're fair dinkum Birks.
