Hi all

I'm after samsung Q80 85"

Current search on Google shows poweland and appliance central priced for $5099.

What are the chances price going down during the black Friday sale?

Do you think it might drop to by 1k or my expectations are too high.

Also do you also thi m HN would price match so I can't take advantage of $500 gift card I had. Can pay cash instead of I/F terms

    The Sony 85" X9000H is 4k right now at Jb. It's a bit less bright, doesn't have 1440p 120hz and the 1080p/4K 120hz are reported to be very blurry and horrible for text. Other than that, decent TV (always check rtings.com first to see if it suits you requirments)

    The Samsung is unlikely to hit the 4ish mark now. It might in March when everything is on clearance making way for the 2021 models.

    I almost bought the Sony today, but decided to hold off after I found about the blur issues. Next year HDMI 2.1 competition should be much better.

    Ask around and see you know anyone who works at Samsung or a friend of someone who does. The friends and family price is $3774
