Best Superfund for US Only Investment with Low Fees

I recently found my first job and I need to open a superfund before I start working. I already trades US stocks and I am looking for a superfund which has very low fees and allows me to just choose my own ETF and let my money sit. I do not want those mixed packages (which includes things like cash holdings, bonds etc) which they offer and I want some US ETFs like $QQQ, $SPY, $VOO etc. I found qsuper which lets me invest in $VTS but qsuper has very high fees which are probably going to be more than what my account is worth. If you have any suggestions for superfunds, please let me know.

    Don't you need >50k for SMSF's?

    • No, some superfunds allow a choice of which ETF to invest into without it being a SMSF

Most super funds have a self manage option where they allow you to trade on ASX but with a number of restrictive criteria:
    - Max 20% holding in one position.
    - Hold 20% in cash or one of their pre-mixed funds.
    - Extra "management"/Upkeeping fees.
    - Poor brokerage fees compared to current retail options.

  • Without necessarily recommending, look at AMG Super. This provides access to ASX-listed securities where you'll be able to get your choice of ETF.

go for industry funds which let you trade, eg host plus which I use has even got manager wholesale funds where they do the work for you, or sunsuper has a good model, or australian supre which I was with. host plus and other industry unds allow you to trade shares and etfs . most industry unds have enough options if you really fancy trading or even speculating. safer in this world recession to be defensive first and preserve capital.
