2.1 Speakers Advice!

Hey guys,

My Z2300 just blew up all of a sudden and now I'm left with no sound on my computer :( So im thinking of buying another set of 2.1 speakers to replace it (since I dont have space for the z5500). What do you guys think is good value for money with good sound quality?

What do you need them for, gaming music etc? Need multiple inputs? Budget?
Logitech Z623 seem to be the closest replacement to the Z2300, can be had for $150 from CentreCom.

    • ^^^ This; if you're sticking to computer speakers.

  • Creative gigaworks T3 has gotten good reviews, just bought one from PLE computers for $199 (awaiting delivery as yet).

  • He is after a 2.1 set from the title??
I have seen decent noise makers for <$30 and they were Logitech.
The Creative (Boston Acoustics)ones were the best but hard to find now so Logitech would be the go.
Alternatively you can pick up a good quality used mini stereo on ebay.. much more versitile and can be had for a similar price to a 2.1 set.
I use a mini stereo on my setup and would not go back to just a speaker set.

We've got stacks of reviews on the Z623's and our other speakers at this link

    If it's 2.1's - look at Z623's, Z523's

    LTS are typically the cheapest
