I've seen this coffee grinder drop to $150 in the past, does anyone know of any sales coming up that might involve this grinder? The best i can find atm is $250 @Amazon and Bing Lee ebay.

That's more for anything but espresso. And it's no-branded Alibaba/AliExpress grinder.
My smart grinder failed only after a few uses (keeps jamming) and its been painful trying to get through to customer support. Every time I call there is about 60 people in the queue. You can organise a call back, but for me they seem to call when I am busy at work, so it's a bit annoying.
I know people rave about the machine, but my experience has kinda put me off. In saying all that, could be worth looking at other grinders in the meanwhile.

Not for a while. Like gaming and TVs, demand for home coffee equipment surged under COVID. Breville's probably having its best quarters ever, so there's no incentive to discount.
Breville also recently purchased Baratza then shortly after increased RRP on some machines.
Not much competition on the pro-consumer machines.thanks for the info
