Has anyone had any success picking up an Xbox series x in store? I haven't been following this generation but it seems preorders were in high demand, just wondering if any stores may have some stock left?

There is a reason nobody is buying the S… don't waste your money!
Your best bet is Telstra, then cancel and pay outright when it arrives (if you don't want Game Pass Ultimate).
Total cost is $760 odd.
They are releasing their second batch early-mid December

No stores had any in-store stock for either console this release. That applied to every release country as well, not just aus. Wouldn't expect to go into a store and buy one until mid next year, if that.
