It's unrelated to this sale, but it's worth keeping in mind that if you've bought from Qwertee before and then don't buy from them for a while, every few months they'll email you a "Buy X get X free" offer with a unique single-use code, valid for a week.
If you buy shirts infrequently and in batches, it'll be better to wait for that.
Speak of the devil, I just got my latest one of these deals this morning.
What's the quality like? I ordered a couple of those support-this-creator type shirts recently and was thoroughly disappointed in the quality. Thin, and a bit thready.
I'm quite satisfied. They're comfortable and breathe well. I haven't given the shirts any real special treatment or care (I wear them, they go in the dirty clothes basket, they get washed and hung out, then stuck in a drawer to repeat the cycle) and their designs/logos and threads have not suffered any damage.
When my shirts start to thin, I downgrade them to pajamas shirts for the rest of their remaining life. I have yet to have to do this with any of the shirts I've bought from Qwertee, and my first order with them was in February 2017.
So the referral link seems to get you a free random shirt for each shirt you order. Annoying thing is, when I created an account and confirmed my email my free shirts disappeared from the cart. Had to click the referral link again and add the shirts again.
