New Mobile Phone Suggestions - 5G, Expandible Storage, Good Camera

So I'm looking at getting a new camera. I mostly want one to use as a phone - send texts and make calls but also has a good camera seeing as most now have multiple lens. I would like to have 5G seeing as I'll have it for a while and 5G will probably become the standard while I have it. Decent storage and can add micro sd.

I was looking at something like the Xiaomi Mi Note 10 (128GB, Black) - Global Model

Also, just had brands like Samsung and Motorola so not sure what other brands are like and how their OS is.

Also, is Kogan OK to buy from. I have an Optus post paid SIM.

I'd like to not spend a huge amount if something cheaper but still good quality.

    S20 Fe 5g? Pretty good price/performance ratio.

    • Some of the reviews don't seem good. Suggest touch screen issues and battery poor. Anyone got one or used one that could comment?

      • if you get the 5 g version, no issues due to SD 865 chip

  • One Plus 8T and S20 FE are great options this year

  • Have a few 5G phones in the house. My Samsung S20 Ultra is by far the worst (many bugs). Strangely the daughters Pixel 5 is the best (fast ui, fastest 5g etc).

Only thing is it has pure Android so is a learning curve.

I would be happy with my wifes A90 however. Only real diff is camera. But it's not bad, just not crazy advanced like the S20 Ultra

  • I've heard that the pixel 5 and 4a 5g are pretty good cameras. Not as good bang for buck as the 4a/3a but if you want 5g 🤷‍♀️.

    • @Naheed
      could you explain the camera?

      it says

"108+12+20+5+2MP rear camera, 32MP front camera"

why does the rear camera have 5 values rather than 1 like the front camera

      • It's got 5 sensors, but most are pretty useless

The Main sensor is the 108MP sensor, is it the Sony IMX?

  • oneplus 8pro
