This wine is a vibrant deep red colour with purple hues and the nose displays a bright bouquet with layers of blackberry, dark chocolate and hints of vanilla. A full bodied wine with excellent framework and a multitude of layers. Instantly apparent are blackberry and black cherry fruit with hints of dark chocolate and vanilla characters laying over top. A very decadent and opulent wine with a balanced palate, excellent structure and refined texture.

  Peak drinking 2035 – 2040

  Not sure I'd dedicate space in my cellar for 15-20 years on a $26 bottle of wine.

  Also the 2017 vintage is $33 per bottle at Dan's, and from the cellar door for $42. Not sure what year the RRP of $54.99 comes from?
