With all the deals we have posted, I don't think I've ever seen one for stuff like these!

The Kurrajong in Swanson St does a lunchtime special of a meal (several choices) and middy for $15 (or close to it).
good question, lots of blogs on timeout concrete playground list deals but most of them are out of date
Some i know of are:
* Forresters @ Surry Hills do a $10 steak on Monday (with drink purchase) - great value these days
* Shakespeares @ Surry Hills have a good value everyday $15 menu; steak, parmi, fish etc
* Lord Gladstone Chippendale $12.50 dinner specials; mon schnitty, thurs steak
* Glenmore @ The Rocks; Tues Burger + drink for $20, Thurs Steak $13.90
* Eastern Bondi Junction (goodtime burgers) have a $5 burger on Wednesday with drink (can get at happy hour price)
* Dove & Olive @ Surry Hills do a $15 schnitty on Tuesday
* Keg n Brew @ Surry Hills have $15 daily meals (even on Saturday)
Also, thefork and firsttable are worth checking out if you are on the look out for a cheaper early bird restaurant meal as you can get 50% off food for some nice places.
