Our company in Perth is Security Perth and in Brisbane is Security Queensland. They are actually separate companies with totally different ABNS.

$528pa. Probably better spent on decent contents insurance.

Note this doesn't include the alarm system too. In 2020 I expect they all can be monitored/alert over the Internet.

  • I don't know why you'd compare this to content insurance. I mean completely different forms of services and protection. if you require monitoring at your house or business no amount of content insurance will provide this type of preventive security.

In 2020 unfortunately many still don't come out of the box internet ready…… It's ridiculous! But you can get add on cards (not cheap either). Or for the majority out there already installed and with some NBN systems the best and cost effective option is with the GPRS. But there is still a large chunk of the market that need and require this Service.

    • For home use you will need insurance and probably need to claim anyway for damage. $500pa for someone to call you to tell you you've been broken into seems a lot.

Security lights, fake cameras and Beware of the dog" stickers probably more cost effective prevention for most of us.

Businesses on industrial estates may see value though.
