Hi guys has anyone heard of the Nike store that only allows entry to employees? Its apparently in Abbotsford in Melbourne and from what I hear is quite exclusive as everything is heavily discounted.
Has anyone been into the store or had a friend who's been? Just wondering how to gain entry into this place.

There are some bargains if they have seconds and discounted stock, but otherwise it's a flat 30% off normal priced stock.
I went there once and they have samples and discounted stock just before the aus open, so shorts for 10, that would probably be 70?
You DO need a guest card to enter - they check the card when you enter the front door - there is a reception area there which is basically a hole in the wall. They then let you into the store. then it's checked when buying products so you get the discount. Not sure if the responder above actually got the 30% discount as that is applied to the price on the goods.
I wonder if the same pass can be used in US.

It's 40% off marked prices which are all tagged up as RRP.
It has a decent selection of items too and a lot of staff (although it's Christmas time).
You get a visitors pass if you've got a reason to visit, and it would seem there's tiers based on your pass, from what I understood when checking in yesterday.

I went there a couple weekends ago - the entry is behind the Nike office (you'll need to google that for the address). Apparently the rule is that a staff member needs to give you a guest pass card or something & they'll check it at the front desk & when you buy your gear. I went in a few weekends ago & simply strolled confidently past the guy at the counter & when the girl asked me for my guest pass I said I didn't have one — they still let me buy the gear lol
