Recommend a 500GB NVMe for Laptop?

Hi

My laptop will take m.2 SATA or NVME. It only has 128gb and would like 500gb. Its just for school stuff so I don't really need top spec but should be reliable.
I read that some chew through battery allot quicker than others, like WD, and also that some are really slow once half full. cant remember the brands.
Suggestions?

I think even the max power consumption by the SSD is small compared to other components (CPU, GPU, screen, Wi-Fi) so I don't think you need to worry about it chewing too much battery. I've never heard of an SSD slowing down significantly at around the half full mark, link to where you read that?
Honestly, I think you're pretty much good with any SSD. If you're really concerned, get the Samsung EVO 970 for $95 delivered which is on the high end so you'll get great speeds and reliability
