I am planning to buy a new phone and deciding btwn these 2 phones. I currently have the Samsung S6 and budget within 1500.

  • S20 5G Snapdragon

    • S20 4G/5G is Exynos

      • I think SM-G9810 is Snapdragon. But I am not sure about the 5G support. There were some deals before for S20 (SM-G9810) and S20+ (SM-G9860) 5G Snapdragon

As far as my research has shown me, all models sold legitimately in Aus are Exynos models. That is with the exception of the S20 FE 5G model only. Happy to be corrected on this, but that's what I've found (been searching for a new phone for a little bit now). Not sure whether maybe some models at some other point in time were different..?

          • @Aido-3927: Yes, you are correct. Those are grey imports by Au sellers. I have a Dual SIM S10 Snapdragon (SM-G9730) which got from a irresistible MyMobile deal back then (something like this). But I think that is not the best way if you consider the warranty etc.

            • @bazingaa: Agreed! I'd much prefer the peace of mind of proper Samsung warranty when considering dropping ~$1000+. I've settled on the 5G FE model purely for Snapdragon; just hoping for no touchscreen issues!

    FE 5G

  • Note 20 ultra 5g for only $1249 dollars ($50 coupon for signing up). Just go to their education store.

    • Not an option for everyone. But definitely the way to go for those with a .edu email address. Government portal isn't bad either.
