iPhone Browsing issue

Hi, I just wanted to put this out there to see if it's just me experiencing this issue.
This has only started happening recently… say the past week or so.

iPhone 4, iOS 5.

When browsing articles in OzBargain, whenever I use the back button on the iPhone's Safari browser I get a prompt asking "Are you sure you want to submit this form again?". The options are Cancel or Submit. No matter which one I select, it then pops up with the same question a second time.

I have tried turning phone off and on, removing safari from running in memory, removing Website Data for ozbargain.com.au from settings>safari>advanced.

Another clue that may help if it is a problem on OzBargain's end. When I hit back and hit Submit on the 2 prompts, it goes back and remembers where I was on the previous page i.e half way through list of deals. If I hit Cancel twice, it does not remember, and takes me to the top of the page.

Not finding much on Google… closest was someone having the same problem at m.theage.com.au since updating to iOS 5, but no replies to the OP. I tried going to that site and did not experience the issue.

Any comments/suggestions appreciated, even if just to say it is working fine for you on the same phone and OS.

Thanks for your time.

  • I'm not having this problem, but why not "Open new links in background" rather than hit back button after reading every article - works for me

    • Thanks for the reply… yeah that is a way around it for sure. Thanks.
