I am hoping someone can point me to a similar product.
I am looking for a bluetooth speaker for events. I had a look at Digitech Audio CS-2543 previously but it's been discontinued.
I was going to but the party speaker at Aldi in the next cyber Wednesday but it's too big. Does anyone what speaker should I get which is roughly the same as CS-2543?
Bluetooth is a must. If there is a mic, it will be even better. I need a small/compact one as I won't be able to store it otherwise. Thank you.
I use two Harmon Kadon Studio 6 speakers as hifi speakers and they are great. It has bluetooth and you can run both at same time in bluetooth but not in stereo, so I use a splitter audio cable. But even in mono they sound great, even just one of them sounds good. It's loud, clear, punchy, sounds great at very high volumes and low volumes. It's water resistant. Has a handle and you can buy clamshell zip up cases that fit it. I'd still put something over it to protect it from rain, you'll have the power port exposed if you want to run it all day. At full volume you only get an hour or so, the thing is seriously loud. It looks goofy as heck but it would actually look okay as an event speaker. I don't know if it'd make a good PA speaker, don't see why not though if it's bluetoothed to your phone, laptop, or tablet anyway. Could buy a lapel mic and try it, latest bluetooth spec has very little lag.
