[NSW] 50% off Footwear (Excludes Football and Kids) @ Nike Factory Outlet, DFO Homebush

270

Nike Factory Homebush has a further 50% off sneakers (excluding football boots & kids).

Manage to cop:
Tailwind 4s / White and coral / $70 - https://www.hypedc.com/au/nike-air-max-tailwind-iv-womens-wh…
Air Max 270 React / Aqua and White / $75 - https://sneakernews.com/2020/03/18/nike-air-max-270-react-cj…
Air Max 270 React / Black and White $65 - https://www.sneakerdistrict.com/sneakers/nike/air-max-270-re…
Air Span II / infrared / $40 - https://sneakernews.com/2018/03/22/nike-air-span-ii-og-hot-c…
Air Max 2017 / triple black / $75 - https://stockx.com/nike-air-max-2017-black-anthracite

Lots of 270 reacts (don't this its a very popular model), Air Max 200s, React Element 55s, Still a few random Volt 90s from the last deal. They had some random Jordan 7 Hares I'm sure some hypebeast would rock them. Can' t really respond on the more performance based sneakers I'm more into Air max so that's all i was really looking for. And i get these colourways aren't for everyone but I'm sure you're all good rocking your air monarchs.

**UPDATE — Had to go and exchange a pair of sneakers yesterday so took some photos of the aisles:

So prices are 50% off the listed prices. Can't tell you much more than that as the aisles are a mess and its pretty busy. I would not recommend going midday on a Saturday or a Sunday as the wait can be 2 hours plus.

This is part of Black Friday / Cyber Monday deals for 2020

  • Ouch.. just bought the adidas deal a few hours ago… Personally I like feel of Nike shoes better… oh well.

Wonder if there's any Joyrides left for Women - need to get one for the mrs…

    • Any reason why you would buy Nike Joyride? Have you seen the reviews on them? Pretty much the outsole/midsole can't be touched with water.

      • The review I saw before buying them were positive, only saw Heskick's review around water issue after I bought them. TBH, it worries me but at the same time, my experience having them:

        • I thought the circular hole at the bottom was where the water ingress would be. But after checking on my shoes, the holes were sealed so there's no way water would come in. To be fair though, the water issue from the shoes was because the reviewer wore them underwater (river stream?) and then washed them. Not sure if normal usage would be the same. I think though his concern has a valid point - if for whatever reason you managed to get quite a bit of water into the pellets… it will cause issue.

        • Now the soles though.. Oh wow… I had Nikes before, the pegasus, the React Infinity (bought at the same time last Nike deal) and a React Presto (also from the last Nike deal :P). The React soles are by far the softest and most comfortable ones I've experienced. The Joyride beats them quite noticeably. Very nice fit, I am not sure how I can describe it.. it's like the upper pulls the whole shoes and the arc of your soles got supported/molded and it is really really comfy.

        • Ok, now this is really a personal opinion and may differ greatly. I personally like the styling and have had a few people saying the same thing. But it is certainly a polarising shoes. :)

I think as long as you don't get the inside wet - rain is ok I think, but deep puddles may be a bit much - it should be fine for day to day usage. I've used it for a few weeks now and have no complaint.

Evidently the Mrs likes it as well as she also wants a pair :P

        • I've just bought a pair Joyride Dual Run on Asos that I'm returning. Main reason is the fabric is not stretchy at all and the tongue part really digs into the top of my feet. It's uncomfortable enough jus trying on, I can't imagine how I'd run in these. Also reviews did say the toe box is narrow but I thought I'd give it a go as I've only just started running and currently can only do around 5km max - it was narrow even when I just tried it on. I'm used to the flyknit on my Air Zoom Mariah and they were so comfy to run in but I wanted something with more cushioning. I think if she's just wearing them for walking, it should be ok, but I'm worried about running in them, so decided to return.

@ZippyRoo: Never tried running in them :) although, I did go one size up (normally I am size 12.5 -13) and chose size 13.5. It certainly helps.

          • @ZippyRoo: You might want to try an alternate lacing eg, wide forefoot Link Sometimes, the shoes are laced from factory so one part is more tighter.

    • There was a bunch of joyrides in mens and womens:

    Didn’t end up buying anything.

    • Did they have any basketball shoes or jordans at uni hill?

      • Sorry didn't take note of basketball shoes or Jordans @ Uni Hill, but I'm sure I saw a section there. I just don't know much about BBall or Jordans.

  • Was at DFO Homebush 9:30 - 12 today, it got really packed after about 10:30 with queuing necessary to go in to most shops.
