AV Receiver 5.1 or 7.2 Under $1000

I am planing to buy an AV Receiver with the budget under $1000. Would like to have 4 to 6 HDMI inputs and 1 or 2 HDMI outputs. Have WI-FI, Builtin chrome cast, Airplay, Internet radio, Bluetooth, 5.1 or 7.2 with reasonable power for a Medium size room. Audio Return Channel (ARC) on HDMI. AM/FM and Digital Radio. Zone B output for wireless headphones.

Thanks for your information.

The brand which consistently has fewer hardware issues, long-term software updates, and a strong loyal following is actually Yamaha. When comes to an AV Receiver it is not about quantity, but about the quality and reliability of the product. Now is not the best time to buy since they're launching the PS5 and the Xbox Series X… these are paving the way for "next-gen".

I would make-do with whatever you have now, and only upgrade on Black Friday Sales 2021.
By that time, early adopters would've done their bidding, all the annoying bugs will get ironed out. Also, the prices should have dropped a little too (or new/refreshed models). Trust me it will save you a lot of headache. Save your cash for now.

    • Thank you for your advice, appreciated.

  • I'm not aware of any AV receivers with built in chromecast but otherwise, whatever Yamaha one that fits your budget.

    • Thank you, marantz nr1510 may be very expensive for me to consider. I would prefer Pioneer, Yamaha, Onkyo, thanks anyway for your suggestions.
