I don't think anyone is going to go for this when you can't even pick the style/size/etc. before even putting in payment details.

  • OurDeal campaign only runs for three days.

You can shop freely online and choose right style, size into your basket before go to check out.
When check out, you can choose normal check out or redeem OurDeal voucher check out. Then you will be asked to put payment details. If you experience any difficulty, please feel free to ask customer service by email or fill form online.

  • You might find $19 shirt in Kmart, which would be different quality. For a good quality shirt, $19 is not enough to cover cost.

Good business brings good quality and good value to customers. For customers, you want to get good money for value.

I can tell a lot of effort has been put into the logo and website (looks good!) but I have to be honest, the name GoDingo does not elicit expectations of a premium quality product. It sounds like a cheap ISP or phone calling card or something.

I'm not saying your product is lacking quality, I'm saying I'll never find out because seriously the name puts me off. That's how important branding is.

Sorry if that was harsh, I just thought you should know.

    • I think you are spot on. buying a quality shirt from GoDingo gives me about the same level of enthusiasm buying my internet from a company called DoDo.

    • I upvoted the deal though, because it's a good market niche in Australia that you're attempting to fill. Just take a few more pointers from the existing overseas options out there. I'd love to see you guys succeed.

  • Thanks Cookieinc. We understand most brands using either French or Italian names. We are thinking to build our own Australian Brand providing good quality product. I like it feeling strength and wild. But I did have concern it is nor formal enough for a business shirt. We are aiming to bring more product range in near future. So it is going to cover more products other than business shirts. Mainly we like it is very Australian.

Thank you very much for your comments. Much appreciated.

    • Thanks for taking the time to respond here to my comments.

I agree that it sounds very Australian, and that's a great angle to take.

One final suggestion: the name should evoke clothing. Here's a free one, "The Fitted Bloke". Reserve your GoDingo name for a line of your own branded clothes or something.

Please go out onto the street and do some market testing, see what people think of your current name. At the moment I think it's doing your business an injustice.

Don't underestimate the power of a name!

      Cheers

      • Cookieinc, really appreciate your comments and support. Will think about it…
