I have had my eye on Jetstar flights to Honolulu in Sept/ Oct 2021 but all of a sudden they are no longer for sale. At all. Anytime in 2021. I realise things are up in the air as to when our borders will open etc etc but they are still selling flights to other overseas destinations in the second half of 2021. Anyone know why they have removed the Honolulu only flights?

Have you seen the USA's Covid-19 data? Could be a big factor.
but its OK, we dont have covid in australia…. so why cant aussies travel there?!
Jetstar don't want to be responsible for their passengers bringing Covid-19 back to Australia, when we have it largely under control.
They also need Federal approval for all international routes, so the government may have said no.
Gotta be crazy to book overseas flights right now.
Play it safe and book a cruise ship holiday
With buffets for every meal.
Covid with a side of gasto. Arranging funerals for sure
And make sure your port of return is Sydney cos they'll let ya right in

Because booking and then cancelling then rebooking would put a strain on the cost base as most of their back of house staff have probably been stood down or sacked.
Nor Scoot flights to Singapore. :(
Not true. They are currently flying to Melbourne and Perth.
I wouldn't go overseas…..anywhere….even next year, until this thing is fully under control. Not only for my own dodgy health, but also the risk of bringing it back.
I think Qantas (assume it includes Jetstar) announced there won’t be flights to Europe or the US until at least 2022?
Qantas have flights to the USA available for most of 2021
…but not all Jetstar flights.
