Credit Voucher and Travel Agent

G'day All!
We have always buy our airtickets from big companies like Flight Centre or airlines itself.
But a lot of our friends have been buying tickets from this person/Agent, free-lance.
So early this year (pre-Covid) we thought what the heck and bought from her, over $5k.
Long story short, we had our flight cancelled due to Covid.

We have been following Qantas news and noted how the whole system was changing due to Covid, extended datelines etc.

Fast forward yesterday we suddenly thought, where is our Receipt and Credit Vouchers? We still hope to travel soon.
Asked the "Agent" and after several to'ing and fro'ing, was finally told the balance we have, minus Cancellation Fees.

Just wondering if something happen to this Agent, what is our fall-back plan?
Havent asked that question directly thought it's a bit insensitive.

(Doesnt sound very smart but hey, that's us!)
