      Sonos Beam has HDMI Arc if that’s important to you. Also includes Alexa and Google Assistant built in.

      Audio quality definitely the beam, budget option which is better is the Yamaha 109 which I've seen here on discount too. I have the 106 and I love it. I also have the beam in my bedroom.

          You can always expand later on. What I did to improve mine is I bought 2 symfonisk speakers from ikea for additional rear left and right channels. They're Sonos inside and can be configured with the beam from the app. They're only 150 each and definitely sounds a lot better especially if you want cinematic sound. If budget permits then the arc will be the best if you just one piece rthats powerful, even that can be added with the symfonisk speakers :)

      sorry if i sound ignorant but why does HDMI input matter so much? don't most tv's have 3.5mm aux or optical audio?

        HDMI eARC can transfer a much higher audio bitrate than any of the inputs on this soundbar. So if you want the best audio quality you need eARC. Though you wouldn't be buying this soundbar if you were an audiophile anyway.

    This is like a very powerful bicycle, yes it's cheap, but it's still a bicycle doesn't catch up with motorbikes or cars.
