This is a cordless rechargeable wet & dry epilator that comes with 7 extras, including this facial cleansing brush device that runs on AA batteries (included). This is the lowest price on Camelx3, possibly to price match the Shaver Shop's Black Friday deal. The epilator is made in Germany whereas the facial brush is made in China.

Braun seems to package their epilators with different extras but the model should be the same as this one for $219 with different extras but without the separate cleansing brush. Note however that the silk-epil 7 is no longer listed on Braun's AU website and is probably superceded by the Silk-Epil 9.

    its an awesome deal. I've had one of these for years. It has a beard trimmer attachment that works in the shower

      I don't think this version comes with a beard trimmer, only different caps and the cleansing brush and extra brush head

      I thought epilators were only used by ladies. Are they unisex? 🤯
      I am confused as on the ShaverShop website, all the epilators are under the Ladies Hair Removal category.

        It's for hair removal. I know some guys like to be hair-free (e.g. on the chest) so they wax. you could potentially use an epilator I suppose. There is nothing particularly 'female' about the design of the epilator.

            @DoctorCalculon: For this model there is a cap for facial hair and also armpits as extras. I can't say how effective it is, but it wouldn't be for everyday use like shaving. Epilators pull hairs out from the root whereas shaving only cuts off the hair, so epilators are more painful, but the effects last longer because the root is removed. I think facial skin would be even more painful as your skin is more sensitive there. Think of epilators as a device with multiple tweezers (in this case, 40 tweezers).

            If you've never removed the hair in that area before, trim them down before using an epilator, otherwise if the tweezers catch the end of the hair it's more painful. (less painful if it's gripping close to the base of the hair).

        Here's an article on epilators for men.

        The silk-epil 7 model mentioned is a different package that has a shaver attachment. There is no shaver attachment with the model in this deal.

    Wow how prices have dropped, I purchased one of these a whiles back. Epilators have come a long way, I was super impressed with this model long battery life, easy to use, the light helps with small hairs and it doesn't hurt as much (won't be painless!!!) in the sensitive areas.
