Anyone Purchased a Koala Couch?

We are moving home soon and are looking to upgrade our couches.
2.5 years ago we purchased a quite expensive couch from Freedom that turned out to be absolute rubbish so we are looking at options.

We are looking into the Koala Lounging Sofa and are keen to get some real feedback as opposed to feedback left within first 2 months of purchase (we are aware Koala incentivises reviews after delivery)

With their current BF Sale, they are priced quite well so are keen to pull the trigger unless we can find a reason not too :)

Has any Ozbargainers purchased a couch from Koala
If so any feedback after a prolonged period of use?
Whats the Quality Like overall?

    Hasn't Koala only just got into furniture?

    I doubt there'll be many people who had the product for any real length of time to test because it hasn't been available that long.

    I have owned the 3 seater koala lounging sofa since March and use it in my spare room for gaming (it is not our main everyday couch).

    It looks nice and is pretty comfortable and if you take the back cushions off it becomes pretty much a single bed, I've had a few people sleep on it with no issues.

    For < $1k it's pretty good value.

    What is their realistic delivery time? I see on their page it says delivery can take up to 14 weeks?

      Because of the popularity of this product, we are currently experiencing delays in some states.

      Free delivery of 3-seater (Bonnie Boon Blue) sofa to SA is estimated from early December.
      Everywhere else, delivery is still fast and free.

      So 4 Hours for me :)

      If its in stock, delivery is within 4 hours (i tested this for bed and mattress, you can pick your delivery window as well), assuming you are in the metro area. If your area is considered suburban, then 1-5 day delivery with no delivery window selection options.

    I got Bonnie doon blue 3 seater last month, started off well but noticed the fabric pilling on the wear areas within a couple weeks, knew it would only get worse so gave it back

    Would probably go IKEA at that price range

      Pilling is normal on most couches
      We had some on our $4000 couch from Freedom.
      stopped after a few weeks, but thanks for the feedback… i will def consider this :)

      Ikea couches i have not found one we like tbh… but they are def of a similar build quality etc

    We decided to spend a bit extra and get a couple couches from Plush :)
