Data is per divided per 30 days (not one block like other long term plans)

    • Can't edit my post. The data is divided and added to the allowance every 30 days, but unused data goes into the data bank.

      • So what happens if you reach your monthly quota?

    Shame on Lebara!
These are for new services. Lebara suck you in with a promo then charge you higher prices even on promo. The worse is they even hide their cheapest plan from you to recharge when that's all you need!

Not trying to back them up but most telcos are the same.

Best SIM deals are always from jumping around cheap sign-up plans (Kogan, Boost etc).
If I sign up for a plan like this, I have zero intentions of renewing. Set up a reminder to find the next plan when you're nearing your expiry.

You name it, Boost ,Optus, Telstra, Kogan, Vodafone…all discount plans are for new customers. Even banks make offer to new customers ONLY

    • Contact their rep. I was disatisfied with the offer of the 360 day plan recently, and had them match Coles $120.

Not saying you'll be successful, but it's worth a try if you're considering ditching them as I was.

  • Does TPG own Lebara?

  • NETWORK NETWORK NETWORK in title please

    • Hi There,

We are on Vodafone 4G Network. If you would like to check coverage, visit https://www.lebara.com.au/network-coverage/. Hope this helps. Thanks!

USELESS in Elwood, ZERO bar reception so much so they refunded me in full and cancelled my contract.

The WORST thing is some fool in culcutta customer service center [sic] looking at a computer screen there and telling me "i will have perfect reception", unlike me on the ground there… "rolls eyes"

  • How about half year later? When you top up would be full price or can I recharge at first place.

      Hi there,
Thank you for your interest in Lebara Mobile.
The promo is for new activations only. However, once activated you could recharge and stack your plan up to 24 months whenever you find a promo suitable for you.
      Hope this helps.

      • How about looking after your already LOYAL CUSTOMERS with some recharge deals????

  • So just to clarify if I sign my kids upto 6month 60GB $49 plan I need to go down & physically buy a sim from Coles or similar then setup with I'm guessing a voucher code they give you?

Now to work out if I trial this for 6 months first or bite the bullet for the Kogan BOGOF deal ($265/250GB) Are they both on technically the same Network?

    • +1

If you buy it online, they deliver a Free SIM to your address and you get a Voucher Code in your email to be applied when you are activating the SIM.

SIM would reach you in about 4 business days. But yes, you can still go and buy a $2 SIM and activate the plan on that SIM using your voucher.

And yes, both Kogan and Lebara use Vodafone 4G - so technically the same network and coverage.

      Hi Ellen007,

You could simply order the SIM pack online at our website and the SIM would be shipped to you.
For the Black Friday sale, you would be receiving a preloaded SIM pack wherein all you would have to do is activate (or port in) and you would be good to go for the next 6 months.
You can recharge and stack your plan up to 24 months whenever you spot a recharge promo that suits you.
      Hope this helps.

      • Hey Outthere, if I was a Lebara user with my number, then ported out to Optus, can I port my number back to Lebara at the end of current Optus cycle, and use these plans as "new customer"? Thanks.

  • As you do get the free SIM and Voucher code separately, can I as a loyal customer just use the code on my current number? I don't mean to vent but telcos should really be fair to their loyal customers :)

I dont think so, there will be a validation to check if this is your "First Recharge". Else, the voucher probably wont work. You need to jump on to their Chat Support and ask, I think.

YOU DO NOT GET A VOUCHER EMAILED TO YOU

Just went down to coles to pick up a $2 sim, ordered the deal, and called Lebara to activate it.
The sim card they send you is required as it is 'pre loaded'. They told me I could not use the sim card I bought to activate this deal.

    Don't waste your $2 like I did

  • Not a fan of Lebara. Their systems are terrible, eat paid vouchers, and their reps do not care
